Nothing much is happening, so I'm putting up this temporary thread for rumors and leaks about upcoming ancient DNA papers. Feel free to post your rumor or leak anonymously. Here's my somewhat cryptic contribution. Make of it what you will.
Instead of calling others names try to understand the point the other person is making. It's amazing how you dont get what I'm saying even after I took the effort to clearly state my position.
As far as the Aryan migration I just said I was done with having a rigid position on the theory not that it never happened. However I am more unsure now about the effect it had on Indian culture and whether some of the supposed influences might not have been autochtonous.
Anyway this discussion with you is getting nowhere. Enjoy whatever you think and have a good day

While waiting for the Rakhigarhi DNA results, take a look at the article this week from the leading Indian newpaper about the aryan migration:

Any updates or ideas on why the paper is taking so long?
Do Indian government or Indian scientists has courage to publish original or unbiased results of Rakhigarhi DNA analysis.
I doubt because chauvinism or delusion always prevailed.
